Pampanga is a home of great food. Way back
then, I remember that when someone went to Pampanga, we made sure that we asked
a favor of buying food for us to indulge when they came home. And now, I am such a happy gal to have the taste of Pampanga closer to my home. What a wonderful and
sumptuous treat, right?
With that said, let me share with you a new
branch “Teresita’s of San Fernando”which opens to the public and
very much accessible being located at the lower ground level of SM Manila. Ella Cruz, one of the hottest celebrities in Manila, was also present in the grand opening and headed the ribbon cutting.
“We
take pride in bringing the best of
home-cooked meals with authentic Kapampangan taste. Just like their second home
Teresita’s SM Manila aims to delight guests who wish to enjoy simple, classic
but affordable dishes from the country’s food capital,” says Ryan Razon, chief executive
offer (CEO) of Nozars, Inc., operator of “Teresita’s
of San Fernando” chain of restaurants.
To give us a
little background, Teresita’s originated in San Fernando in 2002 but it was
only in 2011 when Ryan’s family decided to open their first Metro Manila outlet
along Tomas Morato in Quezon City named after Ryan’s mother Teresita. Their
first outlet in San Fernando, a mere hole-in-the-wall, gained instant
popularity with their Halu-Halo and Palabok. It was then a big hit to us, Filipinos,
who loves Kapampangan dishes.
With the mission to make it closer to everyone, its 11th branch is now happily and delectably serves dishes that we always crave for at a very affordable price. How affordable? Well, unlike many local restaurants where foods are for sharing, Teresita’s serves meals good for one – Kare-Kare, Embutido, Boneless Bangus, among others, which go with rice at very affordable prices, between Php110 to Php130.
“Teresita’s of San Fernando” restaurants are simple, unassuming, and caters to guests who enjoy heirloom recipes.
