Meralco’s Maliwanag Ang Pasko

Last night, November 25, 2011, Meralco lighted its yearly Christmas light ceremony and this year Meralco entitled it as “Maliwanag ang Pasko.” The colorful lights that represent Christmas and Christmas Trees with different colors of Christmas lights are now can be seen when you are passing along the Ortigas Ave. road or you can even drop by at the Meralco Compound Liwanag Park to experience and see the cheerful colors of the park. The park opens till December 25, 2011. Well, since this is open to the public you can bring your kids and have some photos. I just took some so you could have hint on what the Meralco Liwanag Park looks like this year. In addition, Shamcey Supsup is the Meralco Ambassador of Light. She also present together with Manny V. Pangilinan in the lighting ceremony, followed by Fireworks. =)

How to participate:

Give underprivileged kids a brighter Christmas! Like the Meralco Facebook Fan Page and submit a picture of your house decorated with Christmas lights. Meralco aims to send 1000 kids to school after the campaign. No monetary donation is needed on your part, just one photo! Who knew lighting up someone else’s life could be easy?

How to join:

*  Decorate your house with Christmas lights and take its photo. Each photo should be no bigger than 1MB.

*  E-mail the photo to maliwanagangpasko@meralco.com.ph and indicate the following in your e-mail: Your contact details:

            * Present Address

* Phone Number (Mobile and Home)

* Official E-mail Address

* Service ID Number (SIN)

*  All qualified entrants will receive a notification letter via e-mail from Meralco.

*  All qualified photos will be posted on the Meralco Fan Page (www.facebook.com/meralco).

*  All qualified entrants will receive a link via e-mail to get a free customized Maliwanag ang Pasko Facebook Badge to display on their own Facebook Pages.

*  Become a fan of Meralco Facebook Fan Page to see your photo and share it with your friends.

*  All qualified entries from November 18 – December 20, 2011 will be posted on the Maliwanag ang Pasko microsite (www.maliwanagangpasko.com)

*  This is open to Meralco customers only.
