I love Japanese foods! I love tempura, teriyaki, and sushi and maki. Aside from that, eating in a Japanese Restaurant is truly a good treat to me after a hard day of work. It’s been my silent sanctuary and one of my happy places. Oh well, who could resist eating in a place where everything tastes good and what have left was a happy experience and a full tummy.
This could be a late post, but it’s better late than never dearies. Plus, the gastronomic foods I have feast on is really deserves to be posted. Here we go, last January 21, 2012; I was luckily invited to the grand opening of Sumosam Gilmore Branch. To get invited on such foodie event was truly a pleasure to me. As the story goes, Sumosam Greenhills Town Center (Gilmore) Branch is the first “Franchise-own” branch of Sumosam and other than Marvin Agustin who I know owns numerous restaurants all-over the metro and some places in the Philippines, this franchise branch of Sumosam in Greenhills Town Center is owned by Ms. Angel Pelayo-Ty.
Furthermore, during the grand opening of Sumosam Greenhills Town Center Branch was also a majestic launched of Samurai Bento. A Samurai Bento’s choice-chicken teriyaki, beef misono (us beef knuckle), dory tepan, tuna and salmon sashimi, kani stick, bean sprout, yasai itame, gohan, and dilis, all of this for only Php 488.00.

I like and love how fresh the tuna was. It’s my first time to eat a raw tuna and only Sumosam did not fail me to eat some more. Well, I guess, it is one of the foods I would surely order when I get back to any Sumosam Restaurant.

The drinks other than soda and traditional iced tea, they have the Green and Red Tea, which also so refreshing and with an awesome taste.

They also served sinful cupcakes for dessert.
Moreover, since the Sumosam have the great Japanese foods in town, they also have a serene a relaxing ambiance. The interior design was awesome, that makes you stay longer and longer and longer. It feels like home.

So that’s it! I am now craving for Samurai Bento after writing this post! I am looking forward to my next visit at Sumosam Greenhills Town Center this weekend. In addition, the places is not crowded which I always look forward on every restaurant that I visited to dine-in. And since its love month, it also one of the best places to have a mushy talks over your loved ones. ツ
