King Bee Food Restaurant; Satisfies your Chinese Food Cravings

After watching the fashion show held by SM City Fairview, I, together with my blogger friends, went to the newly opened King Bee Restaurant located at Commonwealth, Quezon City, to have and experience a Chinese food galore.

King Bee Chinese Restaurant is a fast growing Chinese restaurant because as of this writing, the Commonwealth branch is the largest (because it has function rooms and can accommodate more than 200 persons) and newest King Bee branch since it has started and originated in Brgy. Manggahan, General Trias, Cavite on August 17, 2001. King Bee Restaurant name is come from the surname of the owner Mrs. Ang Ong King Bee.

I was fascinated with the interior design King Bee Restaurant had as I entered the façade. The bright yellow chairs cover with Chinese characters embedded on it gives a vibrant aura whoever enters the restaurant. The quite so modern Chinese lamps all over the restaurant are also giving a positive vibes.

Chinese known for dimsums, noodles, roasts and etc., which are also part of the King Bee’s menu. Without further ado, let me share with you guys what we’ve feasted on that day. A sumptuous meal that didn’t fail to satisfy us and let us to leave the place with numerous burped.

Winter Melon Soup

Winter Melon Soup

Winter Melon Soup. Oh Boy! This was sooo good! And by the way, it was my first time to see a huge kundol. It contains shrimp and other veggies on which I don’t know yet their names (shame on me!). The taste was flavorful and best serve when it is hot. Just a heads-up, a Winter Melon Soup alone can make you full. Meanwhile, the food presentation was so appealing and inviting.

Dimsum

Dimsum. Bird Siomai, Pork Siomai and the well-known Chicken Feet are the sets of dimsum served to us. It was my first time to eat Bird Siomai and I liked it, well, it just tasted like a shrimp so I bet, you will like it too. Chicken feet were delicious and cooked well.

House Specialty Roast Chicken

House Specialty Roast Chicken. Hmmm… well, I guess, chicken is a must on every festivity because we had the King Bee’s House Specialty Roast Chicken. The chicken meat was tender and juicy. Plus, the meat was tasty maybe because of their special recipe or was marinated on a special spices and/or sauce that you don’t need to eat it with a sauce or gravy.

Sliced Beef with Broccoli Flowers

Sliced Beef with Broccoli Flowers. Another must have on our table whenever we eat at a Chinese restaurant. I liked the freshness of the broccoli flowers and the softness of sliced beef. The sauce was delicious but quite sweet though.

Sauteed Crystal Prawn Balls with Cashew Nuts in Taro Nest

Sauteed Crystal Prawn Balls with Cashew Nuts in Taro Nest. This dish was pretty good… I mean… awesome that made us eat everything. The Prawns were perfectly cooked and the cashew nuts added some twist to the dish. We’ve also eaten the Taro Nest because the taste was indulging.

King Fish in Thai Sauce

King Fish in Thai Sauce. King Fish is it! I liked how the fish was well-cooked. It has no pungent taste and really like its plating, it was so pleasing. The green mango strip and the Thai sauce also added some kick which was so appetizing.

Chinese Pastries

Arrggh! This post made me crave for some dimsum, king fish, well… a Chinese foods! And I still have some desserts to be posted. King Bee also served us a Chinese Pastriesthat way soooooo yummy! Oh boy, I don’t know yet its name because they are still finalizing for it. One bite and you would be addicted to it! Then, this could be a mouthwatering and delightful addiction. ^_^

Mixed Fruits Platter

And last but not the least the Mixed Fruits Platter. Can you see how creative and good in plating King Bee Chefs are?! A mixed fruits platter with watermelon juice, watermelon, apple that looks like a swan, oranges and pineapples!

What a splendid food adventure to end up the night. We’ve been eating for almost 3 hours and this was really a festivity that King Bee Chinese Restaurant caters for us, foodie bloggers!
