Howdy Guys and Gals! I hope you're in the midst of having a great night. As for me, I can still smell the fresh surroundings of Buri Resort & Spa,
a 4-star boutique resort and spa in Puerto Galera that I had have
experienced 2 weeks ago, the non-polluted air that I breathe. Ouch! Why
reality bites me so quick… Gee… as of this writing, I'm in the Metro!
That getaway was so relaxing and the most awesome trip that I had this
year. Can someone bring me to paradise having a great company of nature –
beach, green scenery, trees, birds chirping and the likes, pretty
please?

Welcome to Buri Resort & Spa |
More so, let me share with you guys what had have welcomed us on this 3 days and 2 nights stay-cation in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro (Puerto Galera is the northwestern most municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. It is located at the southwestern end of the Isla Verde Passage, about 130 kilometers south of Manila.).
My first and last
visit to this place was 5 years ago before this Buri Resort & Spa
trip that was our team building. Yeah, I had thoughts of coming back but
it is always not on my top list. Maybe because I already hated the
crowd. The Puerto Galera's white beach is for the beach party goers with
a jam-packed crowd that you can't even enjoy the area which is not my
likings. But not until the day, that Buri Resort & Spa brought us to
their romantic, serene and secluded haven.
welcoming ambiance and refreshments |
I know I already gave you a hint and updates on what's going on during my stay thru my Instagram account as well on Facebook fan page and some OOTD (here and here) posts that I'd posted because, albeit, every corner is a picture perfect and deserves to have an OOTD taken.

Anyways,
the sun shines so bright that day. At 9:00am everyone was so early on
our meeting place and quite excited for this excursion. Everything was
on place – perfect timing, no late, no mischievous – travelling from
Metro Manila to Batangas was very smooth and seems like everyone took
the chance to score a nap all throughout. And when we reached the pier
everyone was so energetic and ecstatic, just can't wait to see and feel
what's waiting for us. Though there was a wobbly encounter with the
waves as our boat was sailing on our way to the resort because of the
monsoon. But aside from that, everything was fine.

As
we reached the romantic and secluded haven of Buri Resort & Spa,
Helen, the resort's manager, greet us with a huge smile painted on her
face. It was a very warm welcome telling us that we will be having a
great time staying the resort. Well, the green scenery plus the
pocketful of sunshine already connotes that we will going to have a
fabulous stay. The staffs handed us a cold towels, what a better way to
refresh after a scorching heat and bumpy boat ride, then as for the
welcome drinks they offered Calamansi juice that was so refreshing! Then
before heading to our designated room, we first had our sumptuous lunch
at Animasi Restaurant. Chicken Adobo and Pork Sinigang tastes scrumptious and I just had Banana Mango Shake as for my drink.
Everything
was so perfect and fab! Greens and blues were everywhere. Perfect blue
sky, lush green leaves of the trees, the infinity pool is inviting and
every corner of Buri Resort & Spa was designed and maintained
properly. Perfect for a running-from-chaotic-world-of-Metro Manila
drama.

There are 12
luxurious villas built like a traditional bahay-kubo or nipa hut that
nestled among palm trees that color the island's hills green. Yani and I
had the Family Villa that is good for friends and families of 4 to 6.
It is a 2 level, fully air-conditioned villa with 1 queen-size bed on
the ground floor equipped with 29-inch flat screen LCD TV with satellite
channels and 2 single beds available in upper floor, 1 bathroom, a
fully stocked mini bar and the spacious balcony.

I
couldn't help it but took a nap after I freshen up, the bed that was so
comfortable and the soft pillows made me fall asleep easily. For the
meantime, here's a welcome post from Buri Resort & Spa! Stay tuned
to my 3d/2n getaway experience courtesy of Buri Resort & Spa. So, if
you want to escape and forget the busy life in the Metro, come and
visit Buri Resort & Spa, a paradise within reach enveloped by the
lushness of nature that offers mouthwatering International and Filipino
cuisines, of course the bed in the villas that will cocoon you in
comfort and the resort itself that brings you luscious and lavish stay
that will surely rejuvenates your mind and body.

DeleteWhen you move up to the mid-level spa resorts, they tend to offer a little more. An exercise facility is one of the extras. Depending on where the spa is located, they may offer hiking or other outdoor activities. hottubdirectory.net
