Innovation White 2014: The Lost Continent {photo diary}

Last August 30, 2014, the biggest white party happened in Manila at World Trade Center, Pasay City. Of course, I was there to party all night long 'til dawn with my friends who influences me in house music and EDM. It was fun and it was a blast. But before the party started we were lucky enough to be present on the press conference of the Dj's that will hit the floor with great music afterwards – DJ Jochen and DJ KhoMha. Well, DJ Jochen loves to go to Boracay Island but apparently time did not permit him to even though it was his second time to be here in Manila. There will be next time, I'm sure!

Meanwhile, just to give you a background for the main DJs of Bigfish's Innovation White: The Lost Continent, Jochen and KhoMha, kindly read on.

Jochen and KhoMha

KhoMha was born in Medellin – Colombia in 1991, falling for the electric sounds around the age of 14 and adopting the trance, progressive and house sounds as he grew up. After his musical evolution, KhoMha created a unique, avant-garde sound known for its captivating melodies, strong beats and euphoric vibe. Each time the crowd was introduced to these anthems, they were overwhelmed.

His tracks and remixes have become hits, reaching the high spots in the top sales and making noise on the biggest festivals and clubs in the world. Each of his productions are supported by leading artists of the global electronic scene such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Sander Van Doorn, Above & Beyond, to name a few.

His musical works are being released on some of the globe's best labels, such as Armada Music, Ultra, Black Hole Recordings, Pinkstar, Spinnin Records, Baroque Records, Cr2 Records and many more. Chosen as the best producer of 2011 by Markus Schulz and Matt Darey in DJ Mag, makes KhoMha the next musical promise for today.

Jochen Miller

Jochen van der Steijn born in in the Dutch City Mill, started his career by the name DJ Jochen. Last year he changed his artist name into Jochen Miller. The young deejay/producer (25) already managed to create his own recognizable sound, which can described as style-blending tech-trance: energetic, uplifting and high quality. Characterized by up tempo powerful melodies, few breaks and constant pumping bass lines. The charismatic Jochen Miller is filled with passion for music and ready to make it to the top.

As word of his phenomenal productions spread, the demand for Jochen Miller as a deejay grow naturally. Resulting in gigs and unique initiatives all over the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, and playing at The Space, the hottest club in Miami (USA) during the Winter Music Conference 2004. Dutch highlights include dance events as Mysterland, Impulz, Decibel Outdoor, Innercity, the summer parties in Nijmegen (where he plays four days in a row every year, including a smashing solo gig for over 5000 people), and hosting his own solo track and the Fast Forward Dance Parade in Rotterdam.
