Yesterday, I went to SM Mall of Asia and heard that they're an on-going "International Food Festival" that presents world class cuisine. Well, it is time for me to taste sumptuous foods without going out of the country. The festival where you can take your taste buds on a trip around the world, as the Mall of Asia holds its "International Food Festival" will run from September 5 to 30, 2014. It includes an exciting line up of activities that will surely whet your appetite for great food discoveries, awesome prizes and special treats! Cool, right?
Over 50 participating restaurants will showcase dishes prepared exclusively for this month long celebration of world-class cuisine. I have tried the flavorful and crispy "Crispy Pata Kare-Kare" The Aristocrat Restaurant had prepared just for this event. I'll talk about it later. Meanwhile, photos of the "Special Eats" will be exhibited at the Main Mall Atrium, Main Mall Entrance. What a great way to welcome its patrons! Mouth-watering dishes will surely boost your appetite. What's more is that MOA Eats diners will get to taste gustatory delights for themselves at the participating restaurants! This dishes are truly special and unique, as they will only available for the duration of the food festival, and only at their dining outlets located at the Mall of Asia.
Blogger friends Azrael and Marco were my eating buddies. Our first stop, The Aristocrat Restaurant.
Aristocrat is known for its delectable dishes and barbecues. And for this festival, they created something from the best of the best – Kare-kare and Crispy Pata! These two dishes were always present at every Family's table whenever they're going to eat out. So, why not combine them? Wow! You have the best of both worlds. "Crispy Pata Kare-Kare" that Aristocrat offers is only for P799 which is already good for the group of 4 to 5 persons. I'm pretty sure that this dish will be a hit soon and might be available in all branches, I wish!

Aside from that, we also tried other dishes such as mechado, sinigang na bangus, lumpia and more. It's such a feast! By the way, Mango Banana Shake is so refreshing, feels like I'm in the beach.
We were still full but we need to head on to our next destination. Next stop, New Orleans.
The Sautéed Shrimp with Spinach Fettuccini and Pimiento Cream Sauce for only P330 which is good for two was my favorite. It has white shrimps, bacon, fresh spinach pasta, white cheese and pimiento sauce blended well, thus, creating a very opulent taste. Would definitely recommend this to my friends who loves pasta. Other dishes that are created for this festival are Blackened Chicken Roulade for only P345 and the Bourbon Tower Ribs for only P799, these two are also good for sharing.
Did we missed dessert? Uh-oh, it's a big NO. Just before the mall was about to close. Fellow bloggers met at Krispy Kreme and seemed like we had a mini educational tour. They let us know about their production and how doughnuts were created. And for that, did you know that only 3 branches produces and make their doughnuts on site? Ha-ha. That's one thing I learned. The three branches are Krispy Kreme BGC, Krispy Kreme Greenhills and Krispy Kreme MoA. They're only branches that can offer hot glazed doughnuts. Others get theirs from commissary.
That's a day of eating. Ha-ha. And I couldn't complain because everything we ate were delectable! More so, there are exciting activities and treats up for grabs during the duration of "International Food Festival." Kindly read on.
What are the activities during the Festival?
