Living a healthy lifestyle connotes proper eating and right exercise that should be done solemnly and religiously. Yeah, albeit, I am one of those people who loves to be healthy and yet not being consistent on achieving it. Junk foods, street foods, and soft drinks are some of my food and drink intake which, of course, not healthy! I’m glad that there are agencies and products that seriously spread awareness of healthy living my giving them options and what to dos so one’s meal may not sound boring or dull. Well, something healthy and still can boost your appetite.
With that said, GV Michel brings the goodness of Australian oats to Philippines to
promote “Wellness of Filipino”
families.

Who eats breakfast? Hmmm… I did when I was in morning shift which as early as 5am-2pm. Me and my colleagues had this routine to eat breakfast at around 7 or 8am and talked anything under the sun from work-related issue to love life to family to business to future and even on.. hmmm…never mind. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Why? It is the first meal we partake to break the fast from last night’s meal, which may last anywhere from eight to 10 hours. It is also important because it prepares us for the demands of work, the body needs food that is packed with lots of energy and nutrients to get us going for the day ahead. And make us even more productive.

And did you know that in many countries around
the world, cereal is an important part of breakfast, be it in the form of cornflakes,
sugary treats or oatmeal. However, this is not so in Asian countries, like the
Philippines, where rice is a daily staple. Well, I can’t live without rice and
a meal wouldn’t complete for me without rice – from breakfast to lunch to
dinner. On which, too much of it could lead us to serious ailments and
diseases. Ouch! Well, to give you a hint, say hello to diabetes and
hypertension and obesity.
Meanwhile, nutrition experts have been
promoting the benefits of cereal, particularly oatmeal. A staple in Western countries, oatmeal provides energy, supports
healthy digestion, and may help
lower blood cholesterol. It is also a
good source of protein and is a
significant source of fiber. All these benefits have led many to include it
in their meals as part of a healthy diet. There are a number of oatmeal brands
in the market today, but one brand has in mind the health and wellness of
Filipino families – GV Michel Oatmeal of
Australia.
GV Michel Oatmeal of Australia is a premium
