Orion Hotel & Café - Tutuban Center, Manila

In line with our Tutuban Center Shopping Challenge, I, together with my fellow bloggers, had an overnight stay at Orion Hotel & Café which is located at the heart of Tutuban where you can find the cheapest stuff from clothing to toys, housewares to curtains and everything that one may need. Strategically, this hotel is located in the 3^rd floor of Prime Building, Tutuban Center so shoppers can have an easy access to the best of both world – shopping & staycation.

Orion Hotel & Café only occupies one floor, which is the 3^rd floor, but it has 41 rooms that rates range from as low as Php1,500 to Php5,000. Thus, shopping is more fun because you can indulge yourself on cheap finds, especially during the wee hours in the Night Market while having the comfort of staying at Orion Hotel & Café afterwards. Here’s a tip, items are cheaper from two in the morning onwards. Plus, the foods serve at their in-house restaurant is a must try! Well, as the place connotes – affordable dishes such as rice meals and pasta are sold from Php130 to Php150.

I stayed at one of their Standard Rooms which has 1 queen-sized bed. It has no windows so it was a bit gloomy but the room was clean and equipped with a cable television, coffee & tea making facilities, hot and cold rain shower and toiletries were also included. Orion Hotel is a good accommodation to stay with and have a relaxing and sound sleep after a tiring and long day of shopping. More so, Deluxe Room with twin bed, Superior Room, and Junior Suite are also available, please see hotel’s website listed below for rates.
