Where to stay in Boracay: Boracay Uptown Resort

Honestly speaking, I had a great time spending my labor day in Boracay Island. Not because of the party scenes in every part of the island, which I found annoying and angry at the same time due to undisciplined guests. Hopefully, they will not allow it again this year, please! Having this kind of celebration having no breeding guests and participants will just ruin the beautiful island. If you can discipline your participants and organize proper waste disposal then perhaps, everything will be surely a celebration.

Anyways, going back to what I said, I had a great time spending labor day… hmmm… rather week in Boracay Island because of having a chance to stayed in different hotels like Lugar Bonito Hotel, Baling-Hai Beach Resort, Alta Vista de Boracay and Boracay Uptown Resort. Well, having friends around who can say no to leisure, I am one happy leisure wanderlust. Ha-ha. Looking for a place to stay in Boracay is now an easy task for you as you go thru my blog post. I was glad that I was able to booked a room for four despite the peak season via Agoda. Though, the price was a bit higher than normal but we couldn’t care. We got all the hotel standards that we look for – beach front, easy access to parties and events, spacious room, has infinity swimming pool, great Wi-Fi connection and the no. 1 requirement, it should be in Station 2 – Boracay Uptown Hotel has it all!

Boracay Uptown Hotel is located in Station 2 beside D’Mall and it is the center of all the parties in the white beach. Yeah, you can imagine how crowded and noisy it will be all over the place but we’re glad that our room was kind of a sound proof for us not to hear the happenings outside, still, it gave us a comfortable and sound sleep throughout the night.

We stayed at a Deluxe Room, a non-beach view room though but we’re still lucky to have stayed here for a night. Our deluxe room is equipped with 2 queen-sized beds, desk & chair (you can still do your job while at the beach), luggage rack, bathrobes, bath toiletries, minibar, safety box, telephone, electronic kettle, hairdryer and a 32-inch cable TV where we’re able to watched Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather fight. However, due to intermittent connection on the last two rounds the cable went off. But here’s one of the good sides of staying in a hotel where events are held, we just went downstairs and watched the fight through live streaming offered by a certain TV network.

More so, Boracay Uptown Hotel is perfect to those who are looking for accessibility with an elegant ambiance. It is perfect for young professionals who look for an easy-access events and parties and loves the crowd outside its hotel room. Also, it is perfect for the family, who wants an easy-peasy vacation with some great amenities perfect for the kids, near the beach, restaurants, amusement park, and shops! In the morning, we had a sumptuous buffet breakfast at the hotel’s in house restaurant which comes free upon booking. I liked that they have swissmiss chocolate drink as one of the options for their drink offerings.

For those party-goers and have a limited vacation time and trying to squeezed-in everything, staying in Boracay Uptown Resort is highly recommended. By the way, I love staying at the poolside and watched the sunset. It’s surreal moment and at the same romantic if you’re with your special someone. Or way better to have a bit of drama having a glass of wine or a bottle of beer on the side. 

Well, that’s how wonderful life is and how grateful I am to see the wonders of the world God created.
