I always love to try and
discover new things, explore places whether usual or not-so-normal in my ears.
The feeling it brings soothe my senses and satisfies my ever curios
personality. It brings joy and at the same time, sadness. It brings happiness
and at the same time, sorrow. No matter what it bring one thing is for sure, I
am very much glad to embrace the learning and experiences it taught me. They
were so surreal that I would be forever thankful to the universe that I able to
cuddle those precious moments that no one can take it away from me.
2016 was a great year for
me. It opens a lot of opportunities for a better life of today. Though, I have
to re-route because the road that’s less traveled was somehow the road for me
to achieve things the way I have envisioned them. Truly, everything is
possible, no matter what your disposition in life, if you have patience,
perseverance, put an effort and hard work plays an important role. Having these
characteristics, you are already one-step higher towards to your goals. These were
some of the things and life lessons I’ve learned during my stay at Ted’s Bed & Breakfast located in Sta.Cruz, Laguna.
With humble beginnings, Ted’s Bed & Breakfast started as an
event’s place and as time goes by, with the right discipline and proper
management, Ted’s Bed & Breakfast now
has seven villas that perfectly give the comfort and relaxation that its guests
looking forward whenever an escape to the city’s hustle and bustle. A
destination that it is only 2-3 hours away from Metropolis. It has a rustic
ambiance that would make one feel the needed inner peace. For me, I liked and
loved how it slows down the time and I, appreciating little things. Listening
to a country songs while sipping on Ted’s
Burger & Steakhouse’s hot coffee/chocolate with the best dessert in town
– Ted’s Brazo de Fernando, were one of the best moments
I had at Ted’s Bed & Breakfast.
Staying in the villa
whether sitting or lying in a comfy bed with a soft and clean sheets and
pillows while binge watching on my favorite Korean TV-drama with quiet and calm
surroundings were one of the best days of my life. At night, you may have a
catch-up session with your love ones over the bonfire while munching on some
mallows. Or perhaps, just appreciate how the stars and moon brightly shining
above you! By the way, Chef Day and Chef Mon are the coolest and humble
person I’ve ever met, they even shared so many wonderful stories, and these two
are such an inspiration. Yes, the brains behind Aurora Filipino Cuisine.
Meanwhile, please do
indulge yourself with these photos. Happy Sunday!

Gee… the hard part of traveling is always the time that you have to leave and go on with your life. It is the time that seems like 24 hours is not enough for a day. But nevertheless, being inspired, motivated and full of ideas are the things that I bring home that always keep me look onto the bright side and have a positive outlook in life.
Of course, no goodbye but see you again, Ted’s Bed & Breakfast! Can’t wait to bring my family there and have a great time. I’m sure they’ll love it too the way I did.
P.S. Ted’s Burger and Steakhouse has an affordable and sumptuous menu and was lucky enough to try some of their best sellers. Kindly stay tuned!
