Sisterhood and traveling are what I am passionate
about. I love to travel with my girlfriends and spend time with them just like
the “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” movie that I love
watching over and over again. And it was a great news that the sisterhood that
I like and love is getting better and better as a parent.
She's here! Amber Tamblyn is now a mama, as she has
welcomed her first child with hubby David Cross. The 33-year-old actress took
to Instagram to announce the birth of her daughter, posting a video clip of a
tiny baby foot along with the hilarious caption: “David and I are proud to announce the birth
of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein
Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr”, adding the hashtag, #TheFuturelsFemale. The new mom, and
her husband, who is 52, were married back in 2012. This is the first marriage
for both, and they dated for almost four years before tying the knot.
The actress announced her pregnancy last year
in a moving essay for Glamour magazine. “Motherhood
has been heavy on my mind lately because I am going to be a mother soon.” she
wrote. “I'm pregnant, with a daughter
on the way.” Amber went on in the essay to explain her thoughts on
motherhood, including a memory of telling her mother she was sexually
assaulted, in which her mother also revealed that a similar thing had happened
to her. The moving essay was printed during the very controversial 2016
presidential election, and Amber opened up on the subject of motherhood and
raising girls. We are so excited for her now that her baby girl is finally
here!
