Albeit, I have a soft spot in my
heart that appreciates and loves artwork. It was like a thirst quencher for my
soul that begging for something that is refreshing. Thus, a walk in park surrounded
with beautiful artworks last Sunday, April16, 2018 at Jaime Velasquez Park in
Salcedo Village, Makati City was such a bliss.
Art in the Park, dubbed as the
country’s most important and affordable art fair where online real estate
brokerage Hoppler successfully
organized its Junior Art Center
activity, which was a huge hit among fair-goers and their kids. Plus, it was a
FREE art session. Upon signed up at Hoppler’s booth, parents received art kits
composed of canvas and paint materials, modeling clay, and origami papers which
were way perfect to keep the kids busy and productive while enjoying the art
fair. Also, a Community Wall was put up where fair-goers were able to write, doodle,
and draw their dream home and that inspires them to make their best to attain
it – a project that it is in line with Hoppler’s mission of promoting an
engaged and cohesive community. You may visit hoppler.com.ph for more information.
Hmmm… with the huge success of Art
in the Park this year, I am already planning to save up so I can take home some
of the pieces from their featured artists. This year, they geared up-and-coming
local artists, 59 galleries, and student groups who exhibited their own unique
art pieces in the said event, Tekla
Tamoria and Jacob Lindo were
among of this year’s featured artists and this fair was for the benefit of Museum Foundation of the Philippines.
yes, so many art-goers
