Bohol – Cebu Summer Getaway with the Family + 5D/4N Itinerary

The family’s last summer hurrah was spent in Bohol and Cebu. Few weeks before the start of class, I booked a flight for the family to fulfill my promise to my nieces that they’re going to see Chocolate Hills as a reward of having a good grade for the previous school year. Traveling with kids is not an easy job that’s why, I see to it that everything was planned, from airport to hotel and everything in between. And I am proud to say that I pulled it off, it was an achievement for me to smoothly planned family vacation as my travels were usually spontaneous. Now, I am getting more organize whenever I traveled with them but of course, I always let my adventurous self to discover and experience new things if I am traveling with my friends (traveling solo is still on my bucket list though).

It was a first time for the family in Bohol and Cebu while I frequently visit those places with my friends. So, planning on what to do and how to make their vacation worthwhile was quite an easy feat for me. But still, I’ve done my research, contacted several travel agencies that offer tours as well as van rentals, and book hotel & resorts suited for my standard.

To those who wanted to go to Bohol and Cebu, the itinerary below will come handy most especially if you’re traveling with your family having kids on board. What I liked about renting car was that you can always make a detour; you may skip some spot and be quick or stay longer to the other tourist destinations. Your welcome! And please feel free to share. :)

To maximize you time and stay, I would suggest booking early flight going to your destination and late flight going back home. We were able to maximized and combined Bohol Countryside Tour and Panglao Tour by starting as early as of 8:30 AM, right after we landed. By doing so, you can save time and money as the tour was quite cheaper. Since our Day 1 – 4 were jam-packed with activities I opted for more free time and relaxation on our Day 5. Stay tuned for more travel getaways with the #fambam. <3
