It was a wild wild west kind of ambiance when we arrived at El Kabayo Clark Stables Picnic Grounds – horses where some had drawn carriage, activities such as archery, bonfire, among others – waited for us after a day of touring around Pampanga. When I thought I had a tired and weary body that longs for a rest and an early call for bed, boy, I was wrong. I felt excitement knowing that we're going to sleep over a tent, under a starry night with a cool breeze and will capped the day with my favorites – wine, different kinds of cheese, cold cuts, and more! Hmm… and great music, too! Cheers to another activity to do when in Pampanga! Well, a perfect setup made possible by Amante Ribs & Steak, a steakhouse and barbecue (also a buffet restaurant) located in the premises of El Kabayo Clark Stables Picnic Grounds. And oh, by the way, marshmallows were also available to keep us company while chatting and catching up by the bonfire.

I love glamping and experiencing it at El Kabayo Clark Stables Picnic Grounds had no exception. Basic toiletries such as soap, toothbrush with toothpaste and towels were provided. There were also mobile/portable toilet also known as portalet around the camping area. Plus, a soft mattress with pillow and blanket for a comfy and sound sleep were waiting for you once you’re done with your stargazing and ready to call it a day.

The next day, before heading to our next destination, I was able to roamed around the area by riding a horse. It was a great experience and one of the activities in Clark that I highly recommend for you to try. By the way, the rate is dependent to the number of person, inclusions and activities but I assure you that it is reasonably priced.
