Albeit, many Filipinos are still under the stigma that traveling is expensive. As much as we wanted to discover and go to places and experience new things, most of us, are still skeptical on choosing the right travel partners that would probably meet our demands and expectations. While, there are so many travel agencies that offers quite competitive rates popping out everywhere, we are still doubtful that, 1) it might be a scam as rates are too low to be true; or 2) not budget-friendly; 3) poor communication or customer service; and the list goes on and on that we ended up just stay at home and wait for the perfect timing to overcome our fear of taking the risk of trusting that travel organizers. Especially, to those who already got scammed and their hard-earned money were put to waste. With that having said, I would like to share some tips and ideas on how to score cheap travel fare online whether for ferry, bus, or airplane.
Meanwhile, I promised to my sister that I was going to treat her an all-expense paid Boracay getaway since most of the time, she can’t join on our family travels due to prior commitment and work. So, while I was cramming and looking for a good deal going to Caticlan or Kalibo – the gateway going to Boracay Island, I came across to PHBus, a transportation-related website in the Philippines. For me, it is a one-stop shop website where I can search for any means of transportation going to a place I wanted to. By using the site – I can compare fare rates and have the best option whether for time or money-constraint scenarios!
How to use PHBus?
Go to the website, www.phbus.com.
Click "Find Tickets" tab.
Enter the place where you are coming from, going to and the date of travel then click “Find Tickets” button.
