Filipinos always loves to celebrate! We can attest to that with many festivities that we are celebrating from time to time and of course, there’s no better way to celebrate something but having a get together with the family, friends and loved ones over delicious food!
We love to share the best and even not the best moments over the comfort of palatable dishes. And over the years, we have our favorites! And these dishes have been passed onto generations by generations and Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino is a living testimony of providing sumptuous meals over the years. It’s been 10 years of serving great Filipino foods in a nostalgic setting and as the time goes by, the menu has improved and still improving with a modern a twist. With the overwhelming demand of diners, Casa Reyes opened its 2nd branch at the second level of Greenhills Promenade to accommodate more guests craving for Filipino cuisines with a twist.

Upon entering at Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino, I was welcomed by a homey ambiance. There were pieces from 80’s and 90’s hanging on the wall, old photos of the family from different generations as well as plates, utensils and other kitchen wares used decades ago. Tables are made of old sewing machine that I used to maneuver its pedal as if I was driving, well, that was good old days that brought me a lot of happy memories – truly, entering at Casa Reyes Filipino Bistro was blast from the past.

It was my 2nd time at Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino - Greenhills Promenade branch, celebrating my Aunt’s birthday was the first, I was already looking forward for its delicious meals. My personal favorites were Crispy Dinuguan, Wagyu Mechado and Pinakbet with Bagnet – these dishes are to die for! As I mentioned earlier, they also oomph up their menu with a modern twist, Tinapa at Kesong Puti Lumpia with Mango Salsa, Sriracha Tomahawk BBQ Chops, Lapu-lapu with Mango Sauce, Bagnet and Laing Combo were some of the meals worth trying! Be warned though, because after tasting these dishes – watch out for your cravings now and then.

As for the dessert, the Pinoy Gelato Artisanal is a must-try! The flavors to choose from are very Pinoy and for sure, will bring back a lot of memories on your childhood such as Chocnut at Flat Tops, Kapeng Barako, Choco Mallows, Dark Tablea at Seasalt, Salted Yema, Mango at Suman, Leche Flan with Butterball, Lala at Hawhaw, and Keso at Pastillas. Well, since I am a cheese-lover, Keso at Pastillas for the win! And also the Dark Tablea at Seasalt and Mango at Suman tastes great! 😊
And before I forgot, your dining experience at Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino wouldn’t be complete without having a melt-in-your-mouth Salted Egg Bibingka Cheesecake! Oh boy, I assure you that even though that you’re already full, there is always a room for this one-of-a-kind bibingka cheesecake. It’s creamy, cheesy and yummy!
Overall experience was great! The staff were courteous and friendly, I also like how attentive they were during my visit. By the way, while waiting for our order, we played sungka (which is readily available on each dining table) and they also served banana chips to keep us company. So yes, it is also good for kids as they wouldn’t get bored while waiting for the food. Casa Reyes Bistro Filipino also offers an all day breakfast, ala carte and also accepts event.
