My top highlight of my #AutumnInKorea
was the visit in Alpaca World followed by a coffee break at Santorini
Café, and an afternoon walk at Jade Garden. These places are not the
usual go-to places when someone is going to South Korea that’s why I opted for
this tour offered by Trazy – less crowd and definitely, a relaxing activity that I always
look forward in a vacation. Though, this tour is only offered every Wednesday
and Fridays until further notice so I guess, grab the opportunity to have this
once in a lifetime experience, book your tour here.
Welcome to Aplaca World! |
We had an early call-time
(8:00AM) and gladly, that the meeting place was just a minute-walk away from
the guesthouse we’re staying in Myeongdong. Technically, just across the street
where the Daiso building is located. Our tour guide, Dabin was very
approachable, helpful and informative as well throughout the day. It’s always a
plus to have a cheerful and energetic guide – it makes the trip more delightful
and fun. Kudos, Trazy Crew!
Meanwhile, the Jade
Garden + Alpaca World 1 Day Tour was priced at ₱2,817 (₩64,000) per
person which is already a discounted price given that Alpaca World is about 1.5
hours away from Myeongdong. It already includes roundtrip transportation,
entrance fees and 1 drink at Santorini Café which cost up to ₩6,500. Well, it
was a nature-filled getaway with a relaxing panoramic view of Chuncheon, South
Korea.
Alpaca
World
Our first stop was the Alpaca
World. Literally and figuratively, we had a close encounter with different kind
of animals from birds, owls, deer, ponies, rabbits and finally, with the
alpacas. I was able to walked and fed the adorable alpacas. They’re so cute and
fluffy! We were given a card that needed to be stamped at 10 stations, if completed
you’ll get a reward – an alpaca stickers perfect for scrapbooks any anything
artsy and crafty. The farm is quite an uphill so be ready, though the area were
nested with trees so there’s nothing to worry about! For me, the best time to
visit is Autumn and Spring maybe so that the weather is cooler.

We spent almost 2.5 hours
exploring the farm and had a great time with the alpacas. Though, if you like
to feed and walk with the alpacas, there’s an additional payment of ₩10,000 per
group (we were 5 in the group so we paid ₩2,000 each) and lasted for 15 minutes.
It was a great experience so I would recommend that you should try it, too. 😊
We also had our lunch in Alpaca Farm, we ordered the pizza and it tasted
delicious – they have 2 flavors which we had since we were a group of 5; each
cost around ₩11,000 - ₩13,000. After lunch,
we headed back to our meeting place, exchanged the stamped card with an alpaca
stickers at souvenirs shop and moved on to our next destination – Santorini Café.

Santorini Café
Per Dabin, our tour guide,
Santorini Café is the best café in the street of Chuncheon with an astounding panoramic
view of Gubongsan Mountain. I must say, it’s a perfect place to hang out, relax
and just enjoy my coffee after a long day while having a wonderful view in the
backdrop. We had free coffee which we already pre-ordered as soon as we hopped
in the bus for day’s tour. It’s also a perfect place to do photoshoot as every
corner is picturesque and Instagram-worthy. And did you notice that I repeatedly
says “perfect” well it really is. It also came to my knowledge that, Santorini Café
host wedding ceremony and reception. So yeah, you might consider this on your
big day, it is highly recommendable to include on your itinerary. Chill and relax
ambiance.

And just like that, the clock
ticked faster than usual that we had to keep moving. Last destination for the
day – Jade Garden.
Coffee and chill - my kind of vacation. |

Jade Garden
Literally, save the best for
last! Jade Garden is a European-themed botanical garden. Also, a k-drama “That
Winter, the Wind Blows” was taken. Upon entering, I was at awed seeing its
beautiful landscape and colorful plants. Definitely, autumn season stole my
heart. I was mesmerized with all the colorful beauty presented on my very eyes
that I couldn’t stop wondering and goofing around with in-between camera clicks
from here and there. Make sure that your camera’s battery are full and even
your mobile as everything is worth capturing for keepsakes.
To sum it up, each place has its own characteristic that stands out. Everything was worth a visit and beyond expectation – stunning, wonderful places worthy to be added on my travel memory bank. It was really a great #trazymemories! And oh boy, you may book your tour here, just click this link and you will redirected to the first step of experiencing what #trazymemories is all about. Happy travels! 😊
