Staying at home made me realized
that I have been to harsh with my skin. Using products with tons of chemical in
it was one of the big mistakes I’ve done… just because I wanted a clear skin in
a snap… well, I mean, without waiting tremendous time to see results. Moving
forward to today, I’ve learned to be extra careful with what products I apply
on my skin – and embraced more of organically made products that are available in
the local market. One of the ways to help fellow entrepreneurs (and people!) is
to support locally made items (#lovelocal #supportlocal).
Diwatang Maria soaps at my bathroom |
Albeit, I love soaps that are smelling
good, it makes the bath time more interesting and fun. And of course, the moisturizing
power that I no longer needed to apply lotion after bath. It definitely saves
time, effort, and money! Yes, modern Maria Clara should be more practical without
compromising quality while getting the benefits at the maximum level. And so, I
am so thrilled to share about Diwatang
Maria, a Philippine brand of high-quality soaps that uses natural and organic ingredients, which are crafted through the cold press method.
Diwatang Maria soap is available in three variants – Makiling (Papaya
Kojic Soap), Sinukuan (Gluta Kojic Soap) and Cacao (Oatmeal, Shea Butter, Aloe
Vera). And my personal favorite for now… the Diwatang Maria Cacao… on which I
definitely fell in love with. Each and every variant has its own roles in
beautifying our skin to give that smooth, supple, and healthy glowing skin.
Also, to address what we wanted for our skin.

So yeah, let me tell more about the Cacao variant. I do have a sensitive skin; I get rashes whenever it is too hot and I’m too sweaty… aside from there were days that I was too oily or too dry. Ugh, I don’t know why it has to be that way. It was one of the reasons why I switched on all-natural and organic products – I just needed a clear and young-looking skin without applying too much skincare. Most of the time, less is more for me and the basic stuff addresses my skin needs so I stick to it.
What I love about Diwatang Maria Cacao?
It is made of Oatmeal, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera – moisturizing
and anti-aging agents combined. Ideally made for cleansing, anti-aging, anti-irritant,
and moisturizing! Definitely, perfect for all-skin type. I like the smell very
much… soothing, relaxing, and oh… chocolate-y yummy! My bath time is more
exciting than ever as it nourishes my skin because of the skin-enhancing
benefits of oatmeal,
and shea butter. It also contains coconut oil and aloe vera that restores skin
elasticity. How I wish I knew this product when I was sunburnt badly during my trip
in Balabac, Palawan, it would be a big relief using this then.

Diwatang Maria Makiling & Diwatang Maria Sinukuan
These two are quite similar as they both contain skin lightening
ingredients good for uneven skin tone. They both have Papaya Enzyme and Kojic
Acid that lightens skin and fades the dark spots. And as I said, Diwatang Maria
only uses all-natural organic ingredients and so, Kojic Acid is derived from
fungi-like mushrooms, used for fighting against melasma and hyper-pigmentation.
On the other hand, Diwatang Maria Sinukuan soap has oatmeal kernel and colloidal
oatmeal that relieves skin irritation and itching hat makes it ideal for sensitive
skin. I would suggest using the latter if you are into skin lightening and yet,
has sensitive skin. Looks like Makiling and Sinukuan will be my travel buddies once
it is safe to travel again so I don’t have to worry for uneven skin tone.
